Privacy is Our Business

FortKnoxster Ltd. values, respects and endorses the privacy and anonymity of all our users. We are strongly committed to protecting the confidential security and integrity of any information, in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy explains FortKnoxster Ltd.’s handling of your information. We will update our Privacy Policy when needed to ensure it is current. Therefore, please revisit this policy in the future.

Protecting Your Information

The security of your information is imperative to us. The core of our business model is to protect the privacy of our users and their data. FortKnoxster uses strong end-to-end encryption with advanced blockchain technology and zero-knowledge principles to protect its user’s online privacy. FortKnoxster protects your account by encrypting your data, using cutting-edge security and technologies. This policy outlines which private information we collect and the usage when you sign-up to DieFi.

Data Collection

FortKnoxster Ltd. collects and utilizes only the minimum personal information required. We collect your email address upon FortKnoxster DieFi account creation. When setting up an account with FortKnoxster, you are required to enable your recovery key. A verification code to activate your FortKnoxster account is sent to your email address provided.

This Privacy Policy covers FortKnoxster DieFi. What data is available to us and why, is listed below for each category:

Emails: Upon FortKnoxster account opening, you are required to provide your email address. Your email address is defined as personal identification information (PII). All emails provided to us during the account creation are confidential information. Your email is required for us to send you the account recovery key when enabling account recovery at account setup. You will receive a welcome email to this email address, and if you choose to contact us from this email address for any support, we may request some information from you in order to deal with any queries. We may use your email address to send you updates on new features and/or to send our Newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time, by selecting ‘unsubscribe’ at the button of our emails.

Benefactor First and Last Name: It is optional, when creating a DieFi account, to input your first name and last name when opening a DieFi account. If the benefactor provides first and last name, FortKnoxster will have access to this information. The name can be fictional.

Beneficiary: When registering a beneficiary, you are required to write the beneficiary’s full name, date of birth (DOB), nationality, primary email address, relation and answer a security question. FortKnoxster has access to the beneficiary’s email address only, for the purpose of sending an automatic email to the beneficiary once the benefactor fails to sign in. We do not store beneficiary information or have access to any other of the beneficiary’s PII.

Wallet & Cold storage registrations: Each wallet registration includes input details such as Wallet name, Wallet provider, Wallet type, Wallet seed phrase, Wallet Private key. Optional wallet inputs include Wallet passcode/pin and Notes. FortKnoxster has no access to any of this highlighly sensitive data as the FortKnoxster DieFi platform is based on zero-knowledge principles and end-to-end encryption.

Files: In files, you can build various folders for each beneficiary and add photos, video’s and other files. When a benefactor links this information to their wallet details, their beneficiary will get access to this information only when the day comes that the benefactor has not signed into their DieFi account for the period setup by the benefactor in DMS (Dead Man’s Switch). FortKnoxster has no access to the information stored in Files/Folders.

We collect Non-Personal Identifiable Information for functional purposes, such as storage space used, last login time and IP country code. This information is required for functional purposes.

Our entire user’s data is stored in encrypted form and no one has any access to it. In addition, user accounts are protected by multi-factor authentication which is mandatory when opening an account.

Third-Party

FortKnoxster DieFi relies on certain 3rd party services, such as Arweave, Au10tix, NuCypher&Treshold, the Polygon and Ethereum blockchain. Using FortKnoxster DieFi, you acknowledge that FortKnoxster relies on these 3rd party services and that you will be governed by their Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policies.

Managing Your Data

Your data belongs to you and you can delete it at any time. Your account information can be changed at any time by logging into your account to modify or delete information.

Data Retention

If you wish to delete your account, we will erase all your remaining encrypted account data from our servers. Any free FortKnoxster accounts that are inactive for more than 12 months may be automatically deleted.

Data Storage

All data is, at any given time, stored in an encrypted format. Temporary backups are also fully encrypted. We have no way of accessing your encrypted data and hence cannot recover your account password, should you lose it.

Non-Disclosure

FortKnoxster Ltd. has a zero-disclosure policy. We will not respond to any requests from authorities regarding information about users, logs, data or similar. We do not comply with any non-governmental or government agency’s request to disclose information unless backed up by applicable court orders, which all businesses must comply with.

Technically

We use physical, electronic and sophisticated security methods to prevent unauthorized access and we maintain data privacy to ensure correct protection of information. We use robust FIPS 142-2 compliant encryption technologies and algorithms, including AES 256, RSA, Elliptic Curve, Key Authentication algorithms, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL/TLS). Our entire user’s data is stored in encrypted form and no one, not even the FortKnoxster Ltd. staff, has any access to it. In addition, user accounts are protected by multi-factor authentication which is a mandatory requirement. Furthermore, our Secure Sockets Layers (SSL) with extended validation ensures the highest degree of authentication available. Again, even if data was compromised, it would be of no use, as all data is highly encrypted. We also refer to the Non-Disclosure section below.

Cookies

FortKnoxster uses a time-limited encrypted session cookie on our platform. No persistent cookies are ever used on the platform. Once the individual session ends, the session cookie is deleted. On the website, we use Google Analytics. Google Analytics tracks website activity (including your IP address) and is stored by Google on servers in the US.
